Generate Test Specifications

The content of a step list test case or variant and a time partition test case or variant can be transferred into text that is added to the Test Case Details view or the Description view of the corresponding test case or variant. Initial values specified in the Initial Values view are considered, see also Values - Initial Values.

The specification in text form describes what happens and not how it was modeled, thus the names of testlets are only mentioned after junctions.

Default step settings like the interpolation mode of the Embedded signal step are not mentioned in the generated test specification in text form; only settings that differ from the default will be explicitly named. For more information about the default settings, see Step List - Step Types.

Embedded signal, Import signal, Table and Testlet steps are currently not supported.
